PARAMEDIC REFRESHER
Includes National Core Competency (NCCR) And Local Core Competency (LCCR) Requirements

This 50-hour (Paramedic) program satisfies your biannual state refresher training requirement (LCCR) as well as the National Registry reregistration requirements (NCCR) for paramedic providers.
Join us for a case-based review of trauma and medical emergencies, cardiovascular, ob/gyn, neonatal and behavioral emergencies. Cutting-edge information on rapid identification and treatment of stroke, as well as updated pharmacological advances will be covered. ALSI instructors will review all of the ACLS topics including thrombolytics, STEMI?s, 12-leads, capnography, and pharmacologically-assisted Endotracheal Intubation as well as surgical airways. Trauma Day will review tourniquets, wound packing and bandaging with skills and scenarios.
We will also recertify your AHA BLS, PALS, and ACLS provider cards (if your card is in-date when you attend; no more than one month expired.) Please make sure you have the current provider manuals for ACLS (2015) & PALS (2010) and complete the online self assessment for both courses. There will be an option to renew your AMLS and/or PHTLS certification in this course for the additional cost of the certificate of $10.00 each. Contact ALSI for more information.
Come prepared to not only sharpen your pencils, but to sharpen your skills with plenty of one-on-one, hands-on practical skills review. Unlike other refresher training programs you have attended in the past, ALSI Instructors will work to bring you in-line with what?s ?on-line? for prehospital medicine in the year 2016 and beyond! We welcome all paramedic providers for this dynamic program. PEPP renewals will be free but there is some pre-course work as well.
Tuition: $460.00 (includes tuition, materials, and ACLS & PALS recertification. Please purchase ACLS 2015 and if applicable, PALS Provider Manuals (still on the 2010 version) ahead of time and take the pre-course self assessment online. ADD $10.00 each for PHTLS & AMLS recerts (must be current providers; bring copies of your certs to class on the first day.
